Cayman Islands Gazette
The Cayman Islands Gazette is the official public sector newspaper and the department’s major revenue earner. The Department of Communications publishes the Gazette fortnightly on alternate Mondays, Extraordinary Gazettes on Wednesdays and Fridays, and Legislation Gazettes which are the Laws that are published whenever needed and on other occasions as ordered by the Governor. It is available free online and printed copies are available by subscription.

Cabinet Office
The Cabinet Office coordinates the weekly meetings of Government ministers, as well as special local, regional and international projects arising from these meetings. It includes the Cabinet Secretariat, which primarily provides administrative and technical support to the Premier, Cabinet and the National Security Council; the Policy Coordination Unit; the Appeals Tribunal Secretariat; the Protocol Office; the Information Rights Unit; and the Gender Affairs Unit. The Cabinet Office also provides secretariat support to the Immigration Appeals Tribunal, the Refugee Protection Appeals Tribunal, the National Council for Persons with Disabilities, the Council of Older Persons, Gender Equality Tribunal and the Council for the Order of the Cayman Islands. Finally, the wider portfolio comprises three public authorities which maintain separate Publication Schemes, the Cayman Islands Government Office in the United Kingdom (London Office), Radio Cayman and the Department of Communications.

Hazard Management Cayman Islands (HMCI)
Hazard Management Department Cayman Islands has overall responsibility for the national Comprehensive Disaster Management programme, including preparedness, response, mitigation and recovery. HMCI is responsible for the National Emergency Operations Centre (NEOC), which is activated to direct and coordinate the response to national threats. HMCI also has responsibility for maintaining the National Hazard Management plans for threats such as hurricanes and earthquakes.

Office of the Premier
The Premier of the Cayman Islands is the political leader and head of Government and is appointed by the Governor in accordance with the Cayman Islands Constitution. The duties of the staff of the Office of The Premier are to support the Premier in carrying out the functions conferred on him or her by or under the Constitution. The Office of The Premier falls under the purview of the Cabinet Office.

Radio Cayman
Radio Cayman is the "Community's Station" and provides extensive coverage of national events, such as the Queen's Birthday Parade in June, Pirates Week Festival activities in October, the Remembrance Day Service in November and other community activities including rebroadcast of the proceedings in the Legislative Assembly when the House is in session. Radio Cayman provides the islands with a 24-hour broadcast service daily, including BBC World Service Programming, between midnight and 6 am on Radio Cayman One and a magical mix of music on BreezeFM. The station also delivers the most extensive and credible local, regional and international newscasts in the Cayman Islands.
