CBC Advise Customers to Clear and Collect Imported Goods

23 October 2025 | Press Release | By: Brandon Jackson-Swaby

The Cayman Islands Customs and Border Control Service (CBC) is issuing an advisory to all importers and customs brokers to promptly clear and collect their goods currently held at the CBC facilities. This advisory comes in anticipation of the potential impacts of Tropical Storm Melissa.

The CBC Warehouse, located on Owen Roberts Drive, will operate for cargo delivery from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday, and from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturdays. Please be aware that operations may be adjusted or paused if weather conditions deteriorate or if emergency protocols are implemented.

Acting Director Mr. Kevin Walton emphasizes, “It is imperative that all stakeholders take proactive measures to safeguard their cargo and reduce potential disruptions caused by Tropical Storm Melissa”.

The CBC is firmly committed to facilitating legitimate trade while prioritising public safety. We will provide updates through our website and social media channels as necessary. We encourage everyone to follow the Cayman Islands Government channels for the latest weather updates.

For assistance, contact CBC Customer Support Centre at +1(345)649-4579.
