The Cayman Islands Public Library Service offers over 80,000 physical and electronic reading materials—a dynamic collection that keeps growing. Everyone is welcome to visit our six library locations to explore our collections and resources.

Borrow a Book

Explore more of what you love or find something new. To borrow materials, simply present your library card. You can check out items for up to three weeks. The librarian on duty may limit the number of books you can borrow.

Access computers and Wi-Fi


Members can visit any library location to access high-speed computers for free and request a Wi-Fi login code. Printing and photocopy services are also available.

Borrow an E-Book
EBSCO makes it simple to browse, borrow, and read e-books. With your library card, you can access our vast collection, including over 33,000 e-books, 1,700 magazine articles, and 5,000 K-8 books in full text or PDF formats.
How It Works

Log in to EBSCO by entering your library member number found on the barcode of your card and
clicking the ‘Sign In’ button. -
Browse titles or explore by category for more specific selections.

Search Our Database
The library is at your fingertips with use our Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC). Use it to find available materials, check due dates, and renew items.
How It Works

Open the OPAC main page.

Use the search field on the left to find titles by subject, title, author, location, etc.

On the results page, view the list of available titles.

Each listing includes the branch location and status, helping you locate items at our libraries or
seek assistance from a librarian.
Access Reference Materials
Explore the ProQuest SIRS Discoverer reference database for information on reading, language arts,
